Locke, Hume, Plato, and others.

Can anyone demonstrate exactly HOW we have failed to do so?

Show me the ideal, and show me the particular failing.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

This reminds me of the quick dude, the sourassed "Qikid" over on the now-defunct DU Jr., who griped to me a few times about how conservativecave was declining, as if I was responsible for it.

In fact, that was the sourass's very last comment to me, just seconds before Skins shut down the site (I also got a rude last message from the insolent bully eek, may he be afflicted with recurring unhealable haemorrhoids all the rest of his life).

The site was gone before I could respond to the sourass quick dude that conservativecave didn't exist to please him, to meet his expectations, so **** off.

Anyone is free--in fact, welcome--to intellectually discuss on conservativecave, if that's what they want.

It's been my experience that when challenged, they usually retreat behind "You don't know enough for me to discuss this with you!"

A couple of the militant "Hail, Science!" types were like that.

I've got my notebook and pen and I'm ready to take notes!

Uh.....Wally?

Dammit. Did Wally smoke another bong and skip out on class again today?  :stoner:
