If Andrew Cuomo leaves as NY governor, will his repleacement be more likely to pardon Trump?
I heard Trumpers are pushing for Cuomo's replacement in hopes of pardoning the orange spud from New York State charges.

Any truth to this? Who would replace Cuomo and is he or she likely to be more sympathetic to Trump's New York State legal woes?

1. The Governor isn't going anywhere, this is a smear campaign, looking at you Roger Stone. n/t

This is the DU member formerly known as monmouth4.

He's already admitted to saying those things... Now he's blaming the women for 'misunderstanding' him...

2. I have a hard time thinking a Democratic Lt Gov (who is also female) would pardon Trump

out of deference to Republicans. I don't know much about her, but really don't think this makes any sense.

5. Maybe they have something on her. I don't know but I think should she become governor,

we could lose the seat...she will not win a governor's race statewide IMHO. We can't allow the GOP and some elements in our party to take down powerful Democrats for bullshit reasons.

3. First of all I don't know if what would happen with Trump's pardon. However, Cuomo can not go period. We can't cave to the GOP...you think a Republican couldn't win New York? Think again. We can not continue to allow the GOP to destroy us with purity bullshit which some in our party keep falling for...we would have lost Virginia had we listened to those folks. It must end. I call bullshit on the entire story period.

I've seen lots of conservative demands for Cuomo's involuntary ouster. I have not heard a peep about a replacement possibly pardoning Trump. So Star Moron skip fox is either lying, making @#$% up, or exaggerating some rando-outlier as mainstream.

Star Moron skip fox's post also lacks an important element. Just what crime has Trump been convicted of? Even the hoped-for search through Trump's tax returns is a fishing expedition for something that might be pretzellated into a charge, not sorting through evidence of a known crime.

The problem is, finding a crime is not all that hard, when that is all you are set on doing. Trump has a massive corp. Lots of people working for him. He trust that they are doing things correctly. When you have a vigilant DA set on finding anything, you likely will. Even a minor slap on the wrist crime, which will be prosecuted at the fullest extent of the law, with additional penalties to boot.

Think Al Capone. His crime was a simple tax law. Usually a slap on the wrist and a fine. They intend to do worse to Trump.

I remember a comparison Rush Limbaugh made early on in President Trump's term regarding how the democrat party was going to hound him for any minor flaw.

Rush said it is like driving from California to New York with a state trooper following you every mile of the trip looking for any reason to pull you over.  Even the most safety conscious minded driver will make minor unintentional infractions during the long trip and will cause the trooper to react by issuing a violation.

The democrat party (and some rinos) have made it their mission in life to punish Donald Trump for the audacity to run for POTUS as a political outsider, defeat the assumed heir queen apparent to obama, and put America and the American people first.  They will do everything possible to make sure he regrets ever coming down the escalator in 2015.

Cuomo isn't going anywhere.  Remember (as Rush certainly said), actions by a politician that would destroy a Republican are actually a resume enhancer for Democrats.  Look at Governor Coon-man (Ralph Northam) in Virginia.  Multiple other examples.

What I'm reading is it's OK for Cuomo to sexually harass women, just like it's OK for VA Gov Northam to wear blackface. Dems can do whatever they want since they hold the correct liberal credentials.

The part about going after Trump is skip fox being the idiot he's always been.

Just what crime has Trump been convicted of?

Being Donald Trump.

He was right yesterday when he said that probably his biggest mistake was wanting to build the wall.  If he'd been against it then the Democrats would've funded it and built it just to spite him.

Has anybody reported this to the gender police.

I don't think Cuomo should hire a lawyer.  I think he's doing a bang up job defending himself.  :lmao:
