Ya'know, I cannot imagine putting so much faith into a speech.  The Little Goons think speeches are THE guiding light of mankind.  Most people don't give a sh*t about a political speech.  These Little Goons live and die by them.

Oh well, there will be all kinds of Little Goons going to bed tonight with damp fronts and clean behinds.  They think they've won the day.

I have to admit, I didn't watch the speech.  Simply put when it comes to a choice of watching some fraud read a speech off a telepropmpter or watch football, any football, football will win every time.

I wonder how many others are out there like me?

And to think they have to suffer through the republican convention AND the next 10 weeks of Obama discovery. 

Charles Manson will be be president before that wicked Marxist.  I always knew the democrat party was ignorantly bold, I thought they had learned their lesson with that retard Kerry....but this...THIS...is just unbelievable.  And they think they will WIN!!  It is astounding!   The arrogance is blinding.  The democrats REALLY think America is this stupid.  I love it!!!

I did not listen to the speech and have not found all of the text yet online. Some is available  here and I'll try and read the whole thing soon.

It's always been about the "cult of personality" with them. There's always some exalted figure - pol, author, film maker, commentator, what have you - who they put on a pedestal and worship as the Destroyer Of Republicans and Savior Of The Republic. How many times have we seen, "Did you see so-and-so on (insert talking head show here)?!" or "Read so-and-so's new book! Bush is soooooo toast!", followed by a level of gushing adoration heretofore only seen from 12-year-old girls at a Backstreet Boys concert.

When the individual in question turns out to be mortal after all, and thus relatively insignificant in the grand scheme of things, they simply forget them and move on to to the next Idol-Of-The-Week and the cycle starts anew.

And they have the nerve to call us "sheep". :whatever:
