1.43% of COVID-19 spread comes from bars/restaurants
« on: December 11, 2020, 04:21:52 PM »
The first statewide compilation of contact tracing data released by New York State on Friday highlights what public health officials have spent the last several weeks attempting to hammer home to people: household gatherings are not only the leading cause of COVID-19 transmission, but it's not even remotely close.

Household/social gatherings account for 73.84 percent of the spread during the two months that were measured, followed by 7.81 percent from healthcare delivery and 2.02 percent sourced from higher education students.

After that, it's a menagerie of different very small percentages, all of which are listed below, though it should be noted that some of these are likely mitigated by restrictions that are already in place, such as for bars and restaurants or quarantine rules for traveling/vacations.

Sadly I think the liberals want the poor peasants to be entirely dependent on the crumbs they offer them.
