When Trump's stormtroopers impound ballots in Dem areas in battleground states, then what?

There is nothing he won't do to stay in office. Trump knows that either he wins, or he will go to prison.

I can see fairly early on election night, the counting is close, and many ballots have yet to have been counted in strong Democratic counties in all battleground states. Trump and Barr send in the goon squads we've seen operating over the last month or two, and they literally go to those counties' supervisor of elections offices and seize all uncounted ballots, "impound" them, and then destroy them.

Trump had also previously ordered his personal stooge in the USPS to slow down the delivery of ballots in those same strong Democratic counties in the battleground states, and then sends in his goon squads to the various USPS depots, and they impound and destroy the massive number of ballots that have purposely not been delivered to the supervisor of elections offices in those same counties by the end of election day.

Meanwhile, Trump and Barr announce that they have defeated a plot by China to commit election fraud in those same Democratic stronghold counties. They then release a report from their intelligence stooges that is full of fake information designed to back up those claims. That report states that China had sent hundreds of thousands of counterfeit ballots to the particular denoted counties, which have now been seized and impounded. Trump and Barr don't let us know that the ballots have been destroyed.

The vote count finishes with Trump winning reelection due to his and Barr's fascist actions. The GOP holds the Senate with a bigger majority, and they greatly reduce the Democratic majority in the House.

The Democrats file suit, which is answered by the DOJ, stating that due to national security reasons, the impounded ballots have been destroyed. The Democrats go wild, as does the media, and even the courts. Trump and the GOP say "**** you" to the rest of us, and go about their fascist business.

Great demonstrations take place all over the country, and they are brutally extinguished by Trump's stormtroopers. In his new term, Trump ignores court rulings, and continues his fascist acts with increasing ferocity, thanks in part to the help of his stormtroopers. As a result, he solidifies even more power. A Trump acolyte then wins in 2024 (of course), continues the power solidification, and democracy in the US dies.

If you think what I outlined above or a similar scenario cannot happen, think again. Like I wrote above, Trump knows that either he wins, or he will go to prison. I do not know how to prevent something like that from happening, nor do I know how to correct the power grab as it happens, or after. I would appreciate your thoughts.

4. Yes, they'll know, but so what? While they would be "knowing", ballots would be destroyed.

I'm talking about a full on fascist grab. In this scenario, observers would be relatively useless.

23. Not being defeatist. I AM trying to get Dems prepared. I admit I don't know what to do.

I think lying to ourselves that Trump won't commit such heinous acts, not being prepared for it, then sitting and watching it happen, leading to despair, and just having to live with it because it was a fait accompli, is actually being defeatist. Just. Like. Each. Time. Before. #heads out of sand

Its not being afraid, its being realistic. Whatever you think he wont do because of historical norms trump will do. Its what he has been doing the whole time. Things are going to get a whole lot worse than you think they will because you think no one would be that brazen, that people wont support him doing it or just sit by and let it happen. He will and they will. Every month for the last 3.5 years he has done what he supposedly cant do and then exceeded the previous month. Rethink your paradigms.

And no other country would want me, when they take my ability to survive away I will kill myself.

I have diabeties,not eating will make me sick and when my sugar levels get low enough I go into a coma and die .

I can't live when I'm left with nothing can't afford food medicine or a roof over my head.

I know I would be caught by fascist goons.

Rather go into that hellish situation, I will stop eating.

In a few days I will have left and I am never coming back.

It's great that you can escape to another country but realize a lot of people have but one way to escape.

Look, if I would have told you two years ago that Trump would do the things he has done the last two years, especially the last year, you would have probably thought that they were kooky thoughts. You would not think that today. He will go as low and as vile as he can because he knows that if he loses, he goes to prison.

It is NOT kooky or far out to think that he would send his police force/stormtroopers to seize ballots, if he knows he is losing, and all other avenues to stealing a victory don't work. Do any of you think that he would decline to do that under those circumstances?

For the last three and a half years, we have all sometimes said "He wouldn't do that, would he?" Well....we have seen that he WOULD, and we have seen that our side has been unprepared for those once unspeakable acts.

We MUST be prepared for almost ANYTHING this vile president might do!

27. Had I two years ago warned of what we've seen since, you would have charged paranoia.

It's not being defeatist, it's not being paranoid.....I just want us to get prepared. However, we could ignore this and other potential authoritarian actions, just like so many times before, then watch them happen and wish we had been prepared. Again...just like so many times before. Ignoring the possibility is the real defeatist attitude.

Quit lying to yourself.....he'll do ANYTHING to win!! My gosh.....he's already in the middle of an actual effort to use the USPS to disenfranchise voters. Who would have predicted that? And who would have declared that person paranoid? Probably a lot of us would. If we are not prepared for all eventualities, leading to a Trump victory, democracy will die in this country. Learn from our past mistakes.

If I'm not mistaken, It is the state's responsibilities to run and count election ballots.  How would President Trump know before the results are posted how a particular district did?  How would they account  for all for all of the missing ballots that the "goon squads" seize and destroy when it is public knowledge how many people in a given district vote.   And in this day and age of everybody having a camera on their phone, how do you see that happening without it going viral on every news website?

You morons are the ones who are insisting on universal mail in ballots when you know damn well it opens the door to massive voter fraud which would disenfranchise millions of voters, not to mention that the USPS has never taken on something of this scale before and can barely deliver their daily load of mail without adding well over 200 million ballots all within a few weeks.
