McCain and Alzheimer's--let's think like Karl Rove for a moment:
Maybe has has the beginning signs, maybe he doesn't.
What would Karl Rove do if it were out candidate? Blast insinuations EVERYWHERE,
in every newscast, in every talk show, all over the place, so that McCain has to
spend LOTS of time trying to convince the world he does NOT have Alzheimer's.
Make it suddenly an issue as to why he REFUSES to get tested for Alzheimer's. He'll
resist the notion whether it's true or not, as the very act of getting tested for it
means WE have started to control the discussion, but if he does refuse, then the
discussion will automatically turn to the big WHY NOT? It may not cost McCain a lot
of sleep, but it will cost his campaign a lot of time and money, and we can only
win if we keep the pressure up. Put the discussion everywhere, especially on RW blogs,
as there is no real excuse for his refusing to get tested for it. They'll answer with
something lame like why doesn't Obama get tested for AIDS, or something, but as he
obviously has had to get physicals, and blood tests are regular parts of them, that
one will fall lame anyway. Besides, Obama is the one with the stable marital track
record, not McCain.
So, put the ball in their court, Ã la Karl Rove. McCain has Alzheimer's!! No? Get him
tested. He refuses to get tested? SEE?? WE TOLD YOU SO!!! He does get tested and it
comes out negative? MADE YA LOOK!! They lose, one way or the other.
One of them comes close to the VRWC agenda, but not close enough....

3. Think About It - The Repugs Want Someone With Alzheimers.....
Edited on Wed Aug-27-08 09:56 AM by global1
all they are looking for is a name to win the seat. Think Reagan - he was a good front man and the people behind the curtain were pulling the strings. Think G.W. - again a face - but too stupid to even put two words together most of the time. The people behind the scenes pull his strings and steer the course. And now McCain. So what if he has Alzheimers. He was a POW for 5 1/2 yrs. That could win them the seat again. Then in the background they will make the decisions for him and steer this country into 4 more years of the same.
So KKKarl doesn't need to get McCain tested for Alzheimers. He already was and passed the test. That's why he's their nominee.
But this one is plain delusional.....

5. One teeny problem
Karl Rove has a compliant media doing his every bidding. We don't.
And one even found a reason to kill him:

11. One tiny factoid....
There is not a test for Alzeheimer's that can be done to a living person. There are ways that doctors check for signs of dementia, but there is no definitive test for Alzeheimer's disease.
I mean I get your point, but Alzeheimer's is a real issue for millions of Americans, and I just like the facts to be out there. My post is about Alzheimer's, not McCain.
In the end, it boils down to the unconditional love the DUmmies feel for their familes....

17. "Are you having a McCain Moment?" I said that to my 60-yr old
mother when she forgot whose turn it was during a card game a few days ago...note, this was after she started the convo by insisting that just because she wasn't voting for Obama, that didn't mean she was racist.
(No, Mom, THAT doesn't make you racist....the fact that you bemoan that rappers get to say the n-word, but you can't? THAT makes you racist.....)
Well, that resonated with my Mom.....it pissed her off and there really was no reply......
Obviously that one wasn't beaten enough as a child.
