So I'm back at work

After almost a month of being furloughed because of a health scare where I work. I work for one of the cola companies of the world and I got put on store stocking despite that's not what I signed up for when I took this job. I worked in the warehouse loading trucks. But due to shortage, I got put into the danger zone.

Long story short. I'm wearing a mask at my job now because where I live, people just forgot that this pandemic never happened and no one is wearing masks now and the stores do not require anyone to wear one. I'm minding my business and stocking shelves and this asshole walks up to me and tells me to take my mask off as its scaring other patrons. I roll my eyes and initially just ignore the guy. But he gets closer and asks me once again to take my mask off. I looked at him and straight up told him to **** off and get out of my space. I have a notice on my lanyard to keep 6ft away from me as well.

Man looked shocked and went to tell the store manager. Which he told me I was justified if he violated my space. I'm at the point where my kindness is completely gone and I have no kind words for selfish individuals.

People wear masks and save your lives and the lives of others. Do not listen to these Neanderthals.

Keep safe everyone. This isn't over, not by a long shot

Here we go ...

1. I just heard Katie Tur say that masks stop

99.something% of the particles coming from your mouth. She said it much more artfully, and I missed the exact ending percentage, but it was high 90’s percent blockage. Very effective!

I would have told that guy to **** off too!

2. You are to be applauded for standing your ground!

You did exactly what you should have to protect yourself and your health.

That took guts.

Here come the reasons I brought this over.

3. That is crazy, why does the ass care, why say anything. What gets me is you wearing a mask only

barely cuts the risk for you, from the ass not wearing the mask, where as you wearing a mask really cuts his risk. Something not fair in that.

Just mind their own business!

9. Exactly

They just run off and tattle to someone. The store manager who was also wearing a mask had my back and gave me full permission to tell anyone off that keeps in my space.

11. So COVID-iots screaming about freedom, just want theirs, screw yours.

Typical Trump Cultist.

We live in a minimal outbreak area and we're still under a shut-down. A couple of weeks ago, everyone had a mask. When we went out yesterday, my husband I were the only ones...2 stores...aside from one employee and one older lady. So far, we've not got any comments on wearing the masks. I'm sure the day will come since we are in RedTrumpistan County.

Good on ya for standing your ground...maybe you can start screaming "my body, my choice" at the next COVID-iot that wants you to give up your freedom to choose.

So does anyone want to take any bets on who is reporting the open restaurants, barber shops, tattoo parlors, etc.?  There is thread after thread over there about them crying they saw someone do something they didn't think is right.

Guess what DUmmies, my body, my choice, and I will NOT be wearing a mask except as required by the type of work I do.  And putting on a 1/2 face or full face respirator isn't something I have to do often.  And unless you're in one of the plants where I'm working and that is required you won't see me in a mask then either.

Bunch of crybabies!  LOL

Well Katy Tur is a dumb ****.

https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/news-perspective/2020/04/commentary-masks-all-covid-19-not-based-sound-data

Cotton masks do next to nothing. But hey what do I know other than having designed several industrial HEPA filtering units and 2 electro-static (competitor to Smog-Hog) air filtration systems.

Katy has big tits, parrots the left's line and is dumb as a post.

In other words, they’re just interested in a face covering for appearances.

Tur might've slightly garbled what an N95 mask does, but bandanas and these DIY hand-sewn masks are basically fashion statements. And then there's the morons who wear their masks covering from the upper lip to under the chin .....

I've seen a chin cover only. My favorite was a guy driving along in his semi wearing a mask

I’ve seen a lot of those. My feelings on that are; if it makes you feel good, go for it. On the flip side of that, these fascists that are reporting businesses need to get a life. You want to wear a mask and stay home, I don’t care, just don’t get in my way!

I stopped believing after his first sentence.  DUmmies have a history with their avoidance of working for a living especially manual labor.

well, dummies like the OP are using masks to virtue signal - masks have some use, but they're not all that at preventing the spread of viruses.

pretty sure he works here:

https://beverage-retailers.cmac.ws/pepsi-beverages-co/2655/

sounds like Shane was doing a little bit of merchandising in some store and an employee wanted Shane to take off his mask, then Shane flipped out on him and the store manager took the dummy's side. But I bet Pepsico wouldn't like the way he represented their company.

Should it ever come to a gun fight, these dolts are afraid of their own shadows, so no worries. I've seen numerous posts on the island of primitives saying they aren't leaving their dwelling until there's a vaccine and it's proven over time to work. So these nuts want to stay isolated for another 12-36 months and they want everyone else to do the same.

With a beard that long and unkempt, very little protection for him, and for others a little more. His mask would be a little better than a virtue signal. ASSuming he isn't wearing a fashion statement bandana.
