What stuck in my mind after Mrs Obama's speech
« on: August 26, 2008, 07:22:49 AM »
Referring to America "its not good enough".

This kind of defines the lefty view as opposed to the view most of us share that America is freaking great but could always get even better.

Lefties can never admit that America is great.  At least not until it's renamed the People's Republic of America.

And Michelle, I still don't believe you when you say you love our country.
My fellow Americans, there is nothing audacious about hope. Hope is what makes people buy lottery tickets instead of paying the bills. Hope is for the old gals feeding the slots in Atlantic City. It destroys the inner-city kid who quits school because he hopes he'll be a world-famous recording artist.

What's the difference between Sarah Palin and Barack Obama?

One is a well turned-out, good-looking, and let's be honest, pretty sexy piece of eye-candy.

The other kills her own food.

Yes, there is much room for improving the USA.  It all requires dismantling what the democrats/socialists have done over the last 70 years to bastardize its design.  I don't think that is what the Obama Nation has in mind.

No.  Given the messiah's remarks about The People's Republic of China I think we can understand where he would see us go.
