The stunning thing is this: their argument is that they should receive free frrod and drink on airplanes simply because the airlines are a private enterprise that has the potential to earn a profit. If there is an airline CEO somewhere getting paid a bonus, then passengers are morally entitled to free food.
Liberals have a fascination with airlines and air travel. They have a particular passion for it being re-regulated for the sole purpose of cutting pay and perks to executives. This, despite the fact that airfares are cheaper now than under regulation, and you can fly to more places than ever.
I think I get what the real issues are, though: when they do scrape together airfare to go visit their freeper families at Thanksgiving, they (a) can't smoke on the plane, (b) they have to pay for booze while in flight, (c) they can't read or post to DU in flight, and (d) even their Cheetos are starting to cost pocket money.
You put a DUmmy in a confined space for a couple of hours with no DU, no grass or smokes, and grub that eats into their tithe to Skinner, and you get one unhappy bastard.
