http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x6753253Oh my.
It's remarkable this supporter of the worthier Democrat candidate is still around, considering all the abuse and Hate he got from the Obamaite primitives the past few months. There's been a lot of bigger and better supporters of the worthier Democrat candidate on Skins's island who've either run away or fallen.
Despite his stupid politics and ****ed-up attitude about life, one has to at least admire the cboy4 primitive for his sheer tenacity.

Okay, I'm going to say something on behalf of Hillary supporters in response to a DU thread entitled: "To HRC holdouts: I will never vote for Sen. Clinton if this election is lost to the Democrats because of you guys.
Because I think there are quite a few people who feel this way. Yes?
If the way Hillary supporters were treated at DU is an indication of the way they were treated out in the real world ... perhaps certain Obama supporters should have thought about the potential Hillary supporters would have tremendous influence in this election.
As you know, they were essentially dismissed and abused. I talked about this extensively during the primaries ... about how their votes would be desperately needed in November, while getting shouted down that Obama was going to win in a landslide, so screw them.
Now I'm seeing quite a few posts and threads from concerned people about how the polls are showing large chunks of undecided voters are in fact people who voted for Senator Clinton in the primary.
Hmmm, maybe this all should have been taken into account?
Of course this will all be mute when Hillary speaks at the convention and offers a second glowing recommendation of Obama before a national audience.
People will realize if Obama loses, and he won't, it would not be her fault.
WOULD NOT.
Move on people.
The Obamaite primitives don't move on, though; they stubbornly remain mired down in their Hate.

9. Since I have let the primary shit go, I won't break down how funny (non divisive adjective) your insinuation is that both sides received an equal amount of abuse.
I intend to continue defending Hillary through the convention, and beyond if necessary, because her supporters are heavily outnumbered here.
She received 18 million votes and 45 percent of the delegates Egnever.
You may not like that, but she earned the right to be a voice and I will speak for her.
Speaking as an outsider looking in, the cboy4 primitive is right. While the supporters of the worthier Democrat candidate for president conducted themselves at all times with dignity and composure on Skins's island during the Democrat primaries, the Obamaite primitives acted without restraint in expressing their loathing, their Hate, of anyone not an Obamaite.

10. oh for the love of god
I dont care if she recieved 200 million votes Cboy4 she lost. it doesnt matter how many votes she got.
Your Op isnt defending her its agitating Obama supporters because you saw another thread agitating you.
Let it go and the Hillary bashing will die out. The only reason it continues at all at this point is because people are still demanding apologies.
If you truly believe you got more shit than you gave well.. I am sorry. I shouldn't have been so mean to you.
Can you let it the **** go now?
After which the cboy4 primitive and the eggsever primitive kiss and make up, in a spirit of amity.

20. That's obviously not the point of the thread.
The point of the thread is that many of the people who are now complaining that HRC isn't warm and effusive enough in her support of Obama were ripping her to shreds in the primary.
You get more bees with honey. If you want the support of former Hillary people, then quit haranguing them. Reach out to them in a positive way.

22. Sigh I could give a **** about the support of hillary people
Get on over to mcsame I could care less we will win with you or without you. I would prefer with you but if all you are gonna do is complain about how butt hurt you are you can take it to someone else cause I couldn't care less. Primaries are tough grow a thicker skin or stay the hell out of GDP.
This place is not for fragile daisies.
Its for Democrats.
Oh oh my.
I'm sure the Obamaite eggsever primitive is "going to give a ****" about the support of "hilary people" come early October. Sit back, wait, watch, and see if I'm not right.

27. That is abundantly clear, even to me, an Obama supporter. You just don't care.
People like you are the ones who are placing this election in jeopardy, not HRC, who has put aside her feelings about her loss to throw her support to Obama.
GDP is for Democrats of all types, including many extremely thoughtful and intelligent people, not just vitriol spouting jerks.

30. This election is not in jepardy
Quit buying into the medias crap.
This election might not be in jepardy for the Obamaite primitives, but it's definitely in jeopardy.
How's Barry "Goldwater" Obama going to even come close, without the support of the votes of those Democrats who supported the worthier Democrat candidate?

18. The OP is correct. Hillary and her supporters were treated to a great deal of abuse right here on DU. She was called a B* and a C*, and her supporters were called "Hillary's harpies" among other slurs. Obama wasn't subject to comparable racial slurs, so we've matured beyond that apparently (on DU if not in the country as a whole). But we haven't matured beyond the sexist crap.
(And I'm not saying this as a Hillary supporter. I was neutral in the primary but if I ever leaned toward anyone, it was Obama.)
There you have it, folks, from both an outsider (franksolich) looking in, and an insider (the pnwmom primitive) looking in.
In all things, while the supporters of the worthier Democrat candidate acted with courtesy and grace, the Obamaite primitives were assholes.

21. I'll let it go when I stop hearing people express anger at HRC because of their perception that she isn't effusive enough in her support of Obama.
He's the winner. It's his job to reach out to Hillary and her supporters and he's doing a good job of that. But some of his backers aren't following his lead.
How true.

23. and some of hers just wont let go
now what?
Want to swap spit on this for another 40 responses or you gonna grow up and get over it?
It's a characteristic of primitives to "never let go;" remember, the primitives still resent that Alphonse Capote Gore tried to steal Florida, and failed.....now almost eight years ago.

36. nope it will be all of our faults
Speaking as an outsider looking in, it's going to be more the "faults" of the Obamaites and Obamaite primitives, than of anybody else. One reconciles with the olive branch, not the cat o' nine-tails.

39. At some point Hillary supporters will need to stop taking offense at every slight.
And at some point the Obama supporters will have to stop taking offense at every slight they think they see from Hillary.
In other words, both sides should probably start growing the **** up.
Oh my. Of course both sides need to grow up, but when it comes to growing up, the Obamaite primitives are runts, midgets, compared with the giants that are the supporters of the worthier Democrat candidate.
