Because the whole award thing was PREPLANNED, that's why. Some reporter(s) need to got to work on that. I would not be shocked if he doesn't even have cancer, though I suspect he does.

1. Maybe he has had it for years.

And now it's worse. Why does he still have hair?

He probably took Tuesday off because he had doctor appointments, or he wasn't feeling well, or who-know/who-cares. Why does a reporter "need to got(?) to work on that?" (Personally I think a reporter should have gotten to work trying to find out what Obama's quo for Tony Rezko's quid was. That was much more relevant than this idiocy.)

As for his hair, not all cancer treatment involves hair loss.

This is the world's stupidest conspiracy theory EVER.

I believe he had already been invited to the SOTU and so was likely traveling, he just had not been informed in advance about the medal.

Rush has been in a wheelchair lately.  -All the way from the airport and back, except for the short flight of stairs to his seat last night.  It's to nip fatigue in the bud at the moment, so he's breathing evenly.

Love ya, Rush.  Prayers a'comin'...

Watching Rush during the reading and presentation, kinda
put a lump in the throat. Rush never saw that coming.
Old fart didn't know whether to shit or shine his shoes.
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”
