I have had this silly hunch that a bit of news today has strengthened a tiny bit.
I have a hunch there are lots of Republicans and former Republicans who will find their way to voting Democratic this cycle. Since they need to dwell among the TrumpZombies in their day to day lives, they keep their willingness to abandon the GOP to themselves.

I am also noticing the Never Trumpers are getting louder instead of shrinking away. They seem to be evolving into AnybodyButTrumpers. Some of their A-Listers are even giving good, sound campaign advice to help Democrats win.

All in all, this phenomenon, if true, portends well for November. Every one of these votes is one less that ()*() will get and we will.

Oh, and that news today? Reported elsewhere on DU, Bill Kristol is now a Democrat.

*THUD*

Kristol has been a never-Trumper since 2015. Conservatives left ol' Bill long before he traded his soul to become a democrat.

1. Keyless.

I suppose that is the equivalent of speechless on DU.

Reality check: Trump has very high approval amongst republicans. What is it, 90+%?

There are republicans who may take issue with him for one reason or another, but that does not mean they are about to hand over the reins to democrats.

And if they are...

Kristol is a weird little shit who looks like a NAMBLA front man with his salivating sotto-voce mumbling.  Nobody but the Romneyites have regarded him as a Republican of any stripe since 2016.

LOL

Yeah, keep telling yourself that and then come November you will be screaming that the election was stolen and you KNOW it was because you had a 'hunch.'

President Trump got 97.1% in Iowa today.  They're falling away in droves.  :rotf:

Thanks to Kristol's Never-Trumpism, the Weekly Standard is no longer weekly ... or at all. The marketplace rejected his Never-Trumpism.
