Keys and the Tiger: Would McCain be able to deal with distractions?

Somebody should bring up this story about Tiger Woods and his dad:

Quote
Not many parents can say their child won four Masters and 10 major golf championships before turning 30. Earl didn't begin playing golf until he was 42, and yet Tiger forever credited his father for his aim and his nerve.

Earl would famously cough and jangle keys in the middle of Tiger's backswing to sharpen the kid's focus. There was a reason Earl and Kultida Woods named Tiger after one of Earl's friends in the South Vietnamese army, a colonel who died in a North Vietnamese camp after Tiger was born.

You had to be tough to be Earl Woods' son. On that glorious afternoon of April 13, 1997, Tiger grew up right there in the shadows of the Georgia pines. He'd won the Masters at 21, shattering all the records two days before the 50th anniversary of Jackie Robinson's big-league debut, and then he fell into his father's arms and sobbed like a baby.

What would happen if Putin, or another world leader, were to do this during negotiations? Do we really want to trust the Presidency to someone who can be more rattled than a pre-teen golfer?

on edit: I am Not saying we should do the "jangle keys" stunt. I am saying that when the rw'ers bring it up this is one media friendly narrative to use to counter it....

1. This is the DUMBEST thing I have ever heard--yeah, Putin is going
to jingle keys to make McLoon go rabid, and then he'll get the missile defense thing scrapped! My God, y'all watch too many movies.

You just have to know that if DUmmie n2doc floated this at DU then some Obamassiah operative with the national campaign has floated the same thing in their war rooms.

What has become very clear over the last 11 years here is that we in the UK have been governed by people whose politics have not moved on since they became socialists in sixth form (High School Seniors) leading us to live in a society that makes China look like a bastion of liberty, if you do vote in Obama it will be much the same for you. This juvenile stupidity is the other side of the coin from the nanny state mentality.

..
It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

Damn, n2doc, that was one of the most pointless, irrelevant and inapposite stories I've ever read.  Are you just some Tiger Woods stalker, trying to shoehorn in a Tiger story to assuage your obsession?.....'cause that's the only way your moronic post actually adds up to any kind of intelligible meaning.

Zeus, I have this to say about your ONN clip . . .

:lmao: :rotf: :lmao: :rotf: :lmao: :rotf:

"Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of Liberty." - Thomas Jefferson

"All you have to do is look straight and see the road, and when you see it, don't sit looking at it - walk!" -Ayn Rand

"Those that trust God with their safety must yet use proper means for their safety, otherwise they tempt Him, and do not trust Him.  God will provide, but so must we also." - Matthew Henry, Commentary on 2 Chronicles 32, from Matthew Henry's Commentary on the Whole Bible

"These anti-gun fools are more dangerous to liberty than street criminals or foreign spies."--Theodore Haas, Dachau Survivor

Chase her even when she's yours.
That's the only way you'll be assured to never lose her.

WTF???? Seriously.
I can see November 2 from my house!!!

Spread my work ethic, not my wealth.

Forget change, bring back common sense.
-------------------------------------------------

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
