I'm still Sabbaticalling from Skins's island, keeping the boat and paddles high-and-dry, because I'll be over there much of this coming week, and it does stress one, wear one out, watching the primitives running amok in their fury and rage and Hate.
Anyway, the other night, I noticed I've been "scaling the grades" when categorizing the primitives according to class; non-primitive, first-tier primitive, second-tier primitive, third-tier primitive, the underprimitven or the faceless lynch-mob, bottom-of-the-barrel primitive, and drek primitive.
It seemed to me, for example, that I had "promoted" the cboy4 primitive from being an unterprimitiven way up to second-tier primitivism, which is actually quite a leap, or soar.
This, despite that the cboy4 primitive appears to have not changed in actual quality at all; he's the same as he always was, the same as he's always going to be.
It occurs to me that since the Obamaite primitives took over Skins's island, the Obamaputsch, many primitives formerly classed as non-primitives, first-tier primitives, and second-tier primitives, have gone away from Skins's island, either voluntarily or involuntarily.
And in an attempt to keep these upper classes inhabited, I've been instinctively "promoting" primitives of the lower classes, despite that they're no better than they've always been--this "scaling the grades" thing.
Now, "quality" is a subjective thing, dependent upon the whims of the observer, but it does seem to me Skins's island isn't making primitives like they used to, sort of like how bad money drives out good money.
Anybody else getting this impression, that the primitives aren't as good as they used to be?
