They will be in their home districts, meeting with constituents. It’s a good time to tell them face to face what should be done about Trump - much better than petitions and emails they will never see.

This is a completely non partisan thing, but why in the ****ety **** does Congress need a 5 week vacation?

Actually don't mind, because this means less ineffective crap will get done.

Over here I've long argued that parliament should have a maximum sitting period - I'd much rather pay M.P.s for doing nothing than for cluttering up the statute books with more unnecessary laws.
