There is a parasitic worm that enters the host by swimming up the urethra.  It's attracted by the urine stream.  It's pretty common in third-world countries.

Anyways, ugh.  Nasty.

There was an episode of "House" where the patient had this same thing happen....of course it was larger and almost killed the person.

There's a tiny catfish that in some S. and Central American streams that will go up the uretha.  Once it gets in at all, the fins lock it from coming out.  Nothing to mess around with at all.

Oh.  See, I had this book a while back that had stories about all these jungle horrors.  Piranhas and those little fish that love to swim up your willy.  Great book for a kid to have, neh?
