Limbaugh previously claimed that "nobody criticizes Hillary . ... Well, you might say, 'No, Michelle Obama and Mrs. Edwards are out there criticizing her,' but, see, I finally figured this one out, too. You can't hit the girl. You just -- you can't hit the girl." He continued: "And for Edwards and Obama to go out there and criticize Hillary would -- she would -- she plays the victim better than anybody does, and she could make real hay out of that. So they've got their wives out there ripping her."

From the August 20 broadcast of Premiere Radio Networks' The Rush Limbaugh Show:

LIMBAUGH: "Quickly, L.A. Times poll: "More striking, however, is the drop in Obama's favorable rating. Obama's favorable rating has slid from 59 percent to 48 percent since June. At the same time his negative rating has risen from 27 to 35 percent. The bulk of that shift stems from Republicans souring on Obama amid ferocious attacks on the Democrat by McCain and his allies." Obama's patriotism is not being attacked in an ad. McCain's just out there saying he's putting his own personal political ambition ahead of the country's. 19. I seriously don't get why he doesn't elicit the same sort of outrage Imus did with his remarks.
 Seriously, in comparison to what Limbaugh says on a regular basis, Imus' comments are harmless. This is not to say that Imus wasn't wrong in saying what he did but Limbaugh is to Imus what a mountain is to an anthill. I find what Limbaugh says a lot more offensive than what Imus had to say and yet the degree of outrage displayed and the acceptance they are given is such a double standard. Imus got exiled to satellite radio and he's actually worked on improving himself while Limbaugh is free to try to incite riots (A FEDERAL CRIME), spew overt and covert racist and sexist BS as well as encourage the cheapening of the democratic experience.

The Little Goons never will get over the fact Limbaugh did not get his job by answering an ad in the newspaper.  Limbaugh does not have a "boss" to whom they can turn in their quest to get him "fired".  

The Little Goons learned nothing after Rush Limbaugh completely humiliated Harry Reid and the democrats in congress last October.
