QUICK: Give me 5 good reasons not to panic!
There are none. I suggest panic. In fact, let me push you along. This time 4 years ago, j fing kerry was AHEAD by 17 points! The fact McCain and hussein are neck and neck with McCain pulling ahead is a great reason to panic.
Regardless of the accuracy of polls, we've got a plurality moving the wrong way. McCain is still a decrepit, angry, Bush-apologist ****wad, but way too many of those polled seem as if they'll vote for him anyway. Saddleback showed him as a fool and a knee-jerk asshole, but it gave him a bump. Obama went to Europe and put in a solid performance McCain could never equal, and McCain got a bump. McCain breaks wind in public and he gets a bump. Are you tellin' me that the ghost of Charlton Heston is really enough to change voters' minds?
McCain kicked hussein's ass. Far from the "fool" you would somehow read, McCain showed he understood the questions and has HIS OWN ANSWERS, which, for the most part, match American Values. uh-bam-uh can NOT speak to anything off a prepared script -- without his handlers, he is thoughtless. He doesn't have any values or standards, so he can't answer questions off the cuff.
ARE MY FELLOW AMERICANS ****IN' CRAZY?
Let's look at it. A candidate with ~140 days' experience whose only qualifications are his skin color and his ability to read speeches and who has deep ties to and been influenced by anti-American terrorists and activists; versus a true War Hero who has over 30 years experience as a public servant who, although not a true Conservative, does have his own set of Values and doesn't believe in the willy-nilly killing of babies.
Yeah, Americans are ****in' crazy.
Help. Cogent reasons why this isn't as scary as it appears to be.
You are a fluke of the Universe. You have no right to be here. And whether you can hear it or not, the Universe is laughing behind your back.
