I'm going to clean the throttle linkage on my POS riding lawn mower and do house work.

I might, or might not at some point, actually sit down and do some painting.

I had to have a new phone overnighted as my second Treo since March has taken a fit and Verizon can't figure out what's wrong and they didn't have any left in stock. And since, I of course went to the Verizon store on the north side of town, when I was over there yesterday....that's where I'm going back to.

I have 2 drivebys to do over there ....but sadly we had a school shooting here this morning over in that area....and I'm not going over there just yet.

Some kid walked into a HS here this morning and walked up to another kid in the cafeteria ...and shot him. The news just reported he is dead...16yo.  :( The shooter was caught within minutes walking down the street.

A month ago we have a church shooting....now this.

Scary times.

I haven't seen anything other than local, but I've been working and just had the local channel on in the background.

Obviously, the HS is closed today, and I don't know what they will do about it tomorrow.

As of a report I saw just a few minutes ago, they are still taking kids to a nearby church for parents to pick them up.

Last report is the shooter knew the kid he killed. They were arguing. However, I saw a girl interviewed who said she was just a few feet away from it and said she didn't hear anything, she was talking with friends, but she saw him pull the gun out of his backpack. :(

Maybe I'll just stay home and tackle paperwork...

It's sad when thats how kids learn to solve their problems with people.  Prayer for the boy's family.



On another note...

I made cupcakes this morning to take to my baby's football practice.  He turns 8 today!  Between doing laundry and running my daughter to dance, I'm going to be a good mom and play video games with him for the afternoon!  :-)
