4. We're waiting for a lot of things

First, we're waiting for Republicans and Republican office holders to get off the schneid and recognize the peril the Constitution is in. They constitute a not inconsiderable segment of the population and a majority of the legislative branch. Without some support from them, they can and will monkey-wrench any effort to remove this corrupt mountebank from office.

Second, we get one shot at this. If we miss, Trump not only stays in office, he gains more confidence that he is above reproach and beyond judgment by the hoi polloi (if such a thing is possible). It's bad, very bad, now. We try to remove him and fail, it will get exponentially worse. And by that I mean armed, violent conflict, with Trump in absolute control of the military.

I can list more, but that should be enough. Cool your jets, and let's work for a political/electoral solution come November.
