Work until 3:30. Then the D-backs game tonight! And I'm taking a half-day tomorrow so I can sleep in. Life is pretty good.

Getting ready to leave the hotel.  My mom and I will probably grab lunch, then she'll drop me off back at my apartment so I can get everything I took back into my room. 

Then, I have  class from 1:30 to 5 pm.  Anatomy and Physiology, accompanied by a lab.

I'm at work.  This is my slow week of the month, so I don't have much to do.  I'm going to help the AP person get their filing straight.  The girl that does the filing apparently doesn't know her ABCs.   :whatever:

Right now I'm trying to figure out why cash sales is short 5 cents.

Let's see....dropped the youngest off at a friends just now (they are going to the pool for hte afternoon).  Gonna drop my daughter off at her dance thingy in a couple hours.   Have an exciting afternoon of laundry and vacuuming planned.

This evening, we actually have NO baseball or football, but I do have a parent meeting for the dance company....go figure.   And my daughter is done with her dance thingy at 8:30.

I'm just going to give up.  It's only a nickel.  :)

But those cashiers have become bitches lately.  They do not like it when I call over there, and most importantly when my boss calls over there, because they can't do their job right.   :censored:

Hmm...well this is the last day of summer vacation for the babies so we have already been to Bob Evans(before school starts treat) and ran a few errands. Gotta get back out and get some lunch fixins for the kids. Tomorrow starts the routine we are in for most of the year with the kids returning to school.

Good news: my semester is done and I grabbed another A so I have 2 more classes to get a degree with a 4.0 no less.

Other then that, we are just doing some chores here at home.

I just had Carnitas for lunch and I really would like to take a nap.

Having a job gets in the way of the nap, as I work this afternoon.

I just found out I need 12 continuing education credits by October otherwise the state of Nevada will yank my professional license. I thought I was good until next year. I am also waiting on some books to study for a national certification. That simply results in more $$$.

In less then two months on the job I have already received a customer service award.  :-) My coworkers hate me, LOL....two of them have been fired since I came on board, and there are two more on the list....they will either start to provide excellent customer service or they will be fired. I am great to work with if you do your job...if you don't....hopefully you can find a new job.

WTG Jty!  :)  H5!

I'm aiming for 3 A's this semester, and I think I can do it (Statistics is the class that will need the most attention, obviously :o).

My mom just left ( :bawl: ).  It was nice waking up in a nice comfy bed at the hotel, getting a free breakfast (The Marriott had a wafflemaker   :-)  ),  then to lunch with my mom at Applebee's (we love just getting their appetizers as they are smaller portions...big lunches aren't necessary).    I told her we WILL be going to Lady and Sons on her next trip down here (Paula Deen's place).

ACC.....I would love to go to the Lady and Sons! I met Paula Deen when she was here with Bobby Flay filming a tailgate contest on a football Saturday 3 years ago. She has the most incredible eyes. They came to our tailgate and we got to go be "extras" in their final segment of the show. I'd really like to go to one of her "Party with Paula" shows. They look like so much fun!

If you like Lemon Squares....you need to try hers. They are really easy....and absolutely incredible! I'm making them for a wedding shower on Saturday that I'm catering.

I got a cookbook written by Jamie and Bobby Deen for Christmas.  They travelled all over the country telling you about these great, awesome restaurants they went to and the food they had and then proceeded to give you a recipe that had nothing to do with the restaurant or their food.

The rib rub was good, but it's pretty basic.

now they have Hump day? c'mon people, does it really need its own day, isn't it its own reward?  Now I have to recognize it? and what is the protocol? flowers?  humping the leg of the fed ex guy when he goes past my office? where is this gonna end...
