The usual course of action in a political crisis is to throw someone into the volcano and see if it appeases the gods. If not, then someone higher up has to go next. Who would be next higher up from the AG? Discussion may have come down to not letting Trump cost the Republicans both houses of Congress in 2018. The Repukes in Congress may turn on the Orange Menace more quickly than we think.

1) a coup? Trump won the election and controls both houses. Who needs a coup when he legitimately won the election.
2) Too stupid? he beat Hillary like a baby seal. He snookered the Democrats time and again. He got leakers to release Fake News.  You need to redefine stupid.

They are still falling back on that "Trump is destroying the country" message when the longer he has been in office the better the economy gets. More jobs, less unemployed, higher wages, rising stock market, rising cryptocurrency market, less people on food stamps and fewer people who need government handouts.

Eventually, the rest of the country is going to see this as the bit of wishful thinking that it is. It has been said that if one tells the big lie often enough people will believe it but in this case, when the evidence clearly contradicts the lie I don't feel it is going to work.

To be fair to the DUmmies, Trump may be "destroying the country" for them, by rolling back all the Obama era bullshit and handouts.

DUmmies will now have to either WORK, or STARVE!  I don't care either way, but for them, I prefer the latter...
