I have to believe North Korean officials are
reading the media here and realize that the American people are not the ones mouthing off against NK -- that it's mostly only that person in the White House.

On the other hand, I wonder what would happen if a few million people wrote an open letter to NK saying, hey, the American people don't want a war with you, and neither does the military. It's mostly only that guy in the White House.

Would that be considered treason, or a threat to national security, or some such BS?

And BTW, Secret Service and Dept of Homeland Security: I haven't done this and I'm not even advocating that it be done. I'm simply asking a question, and, as far as I know, that still falls within the concept of free speech. So there.

Have you read any witness-accounts of people who made it out of NK? Here's an example for what kind of math NK children get taught in school:
"If A kills 20 americans pigs and B kills 22 american pigs, how many american pigs have they killed?"
The correct answer is not "42".
The correct answer is "42 american pigs".

Or how about escaped North Koreans who told journalists that the NK citizens have no idea what's going on in the world?



FFS, educate yourself before writing bothsiderism.
How did anyone that rational make it to over 11,000 posts on DU?

North Korea is allowing soldiers to take time off to steal food from farmers to feed themselves.

If Kim can't feed his military, then his time is very limited.
