I just called a driver in the dock next to me a ****ing moron. Re: Tax Scam
About 10 minutes ago we were in the lumper’s (people who unload trucks) office, and I was calculating how losing the form 2106 trucker per diem will cost me for 2018. it came to $8,000+ more in taxes. I saw the result and said out loud “mother ****er”!
A guy sitting next to me laughed and said what’s wrong, so I told him, and he said, no, I must be a Democrat, cause that’s fake news. I responded he must be either an ignorant redneck, or a trucker with his own private jet.
I got my door assignment and bumped the dock. A few minutes later the same driver pulls into the dock to my right, and as soon as he sets his brake I showed him a confirming article on the trucker site Overdrive, hardly a liberal fake news site.
Instead of admitting that the deduction we both use was actually being taken away, his response was “Cry me a river”.
The stupid burns more then merely the stupid..

Seriously. Do the DUmpasses even believe a truck driver is going to lose 8K out of pocket in taxes?
They appear to just enjoy stroking each other, they both know what they are doing.

I really don't get these people. Just about the time I think I have them figured out, I start thinking about it again and it's all a haze.

So we got more than one truck driver besides tubby tobin?  Who knew?  I wonder if he/she/it is rotund like the tubbs?

Normally I would I look it up... these are dummies though and when they ain't lying they are wrong.

Taxes are good, DUmmie.  The government can better decide what to do with that 8K than you ever could.  So I don't see what the problem is here.

Deductible per diem is currently over $60/day. Most long haul truckers sleep in their trucks most of the time to save money.

$63 a day is about  1,000 days per diem that would be needed to equal the increase $6,000 in the standard deduction.  Since a year has only 365 days I think that is a HUGE net plus.

The left seems to be driven to prove they are arithmetic challenged.

Why is he bitching?  Fast food employees have to buy their own non deductible meals.... for that matter most people have to buy their own non  deductible meals so why the bitching?  Dummie is gonna have live like the rest of us, oh boo hoo.
