TheMastersNemesis (8,684 posts)GOP Is Confident Because They Are Working At Wrecking 2018 Elections With Russian Help.The GOP is confident regardless of hated tax bill because they are confident that they can wreck the 2018 vote like they did 2016. It is so totally clear that 2016 was a RW, Russian and GOP coup. The GOP is a rogue party connected to interests who want to dismantle our federal government. Look how quickly they approved the saboteur Cabinets and lower appointments. Look at how they are trying to stack the courts with neo Nazi and white supremacist judges. Look at how they are dismantling our regulatory structure that will trash the environment, labor laws, finance laws etc, etc. etc.
davekriss (3,300 posts) 1. AbsolutelyI believe they knew the fix was in long prior to the 2016 vote. Thus the “let the voters decide” refusal to even hold a hearing on Obama’s SCOTUS nominee. Thus their almost successful attempt to repeal the ACA earlier this year, which was a disguised tax cut for the oligarchy. Thus the Class Theft Tax Reform Act that’s about to become law. Thus the coming gutting of Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Barney Frank told us the truth after the Black Lives Matter movement got underway. He said something like, “protest all you want, it does not mean a thing. Congress only responds to their campaign contributors”. Having said that, I’m still willing to man the barricades. What else is there to do except to RESIST!
Doodley (2,243 posts) 2. Where was Russia yesterday when the GOP needed them. I think Putin has given up on Trump. Even Putin had no idea that Trump was a moron who would threaten the stability of the entire planet.
