It's a ploy. Can you see it? Everything about our society is set up to resist change. Or more to the point, conservatives have figured out how to push the right set of buttons to keep their people in a state of incurious inaction.

The pattern I see is that Dems had a filibuster-proof supermajority from 08-to-2010, and did nothing about 2nd Amendment repeal or immigration-reform.

al gore & the climptons held the Oval Office for 8-years and said nothing about global-climate anything.

obama knew about Russia and did nothing.

The pattern I see is the lib politicians giving speeches and condemning gun ownersip and crying foer "common sence, comprehensive gun laws" and tomorrow they will be back to figuring out how to squeeze more $$ out of our pockets and into theirs.
