17. I think it was the hackers who dumped to Wikipedia, and who fooled with election systems. Russia.

This was part of a broad plan for election night. You wouldn't think DU would be that important, but it is THE largest Democratic Party forum, and a source for informing Democrats about exit polls, turnout, irregularities in voting, etc.
So yeah, I think it was part of the plan to disrupt the opposition and ensure they couldn't call on Democrats to go vote at such and such, because the exit polls don't look good.
I am not prone to conspiracy theories at all. But I think it's logical to think it was the same people who had been doing all the other disruption leading up to the election. Remember that they focused on the internet, and had thousands of trolls to spew fake news and disrupt.

I seriously can't believe any of them still believe that it was actually done by Russians, that the mean old Russians and Republicans saw their pitiful little forum as some kind of threat that could overthrow an election and thus hacked their site to supposedly silence them.
It is immensely obvious what actually happened:
As the election results began coming in and it became more and more clear that Trump would win, Skinner knew that if the DUmp stayed up, it would be jam- packed with innumerable threads from the DUmmies openly demanding Trump's assassination and violent revolution. He was afraid this could lead to them attracting the unwanted attention of the Secret Service, so he shut down the site long enough for the DUmmies' fury to cool down a bit. He knew the best way to keep the DUmmies from realizing it was him would be to appeal simultaneously to their hatred of others, their egotism, and their self- righteousness by making it seem like the site was hacked. That then led to the DU idiots assuming the hack MUST have been done by evil Republicans and Russians to try and silence them, so nobody suspected Skinner.

Why would the Russians bother?  Everyone on DU, except moles, would assuredly vote Dem no matter what, and they don't even interact with, let alone influence the opinion of, anyone but other moonbats who also exclusively vote Dem.  Despite their claims of six-figure membership, after you take out the dead, banned, and inactive it's somewhere under 5K people who even read it for anything but laughs.  4chan trolls, Skinner himself, or a pissed-off tombstoned member are all much more rational explanations than thinking the Russians give two shits in Slavyanka about it.  On top of all that, the damn' thing didn't crash until every ballot had already been cast, except maybe Hawaii, the Aleutians, and some Pacific island territories.  What would be the point, except just to send the DU freakshow into mental breakdowns?
