If I am "responsible" for reparations because of slavery and Jim Crow imposed upon those of African derivation--imposed not by me, or by ancestors of mine--how come these "children" aren't responsible for the crimes of their parents, who brought and kept them here illegally?

Suppose some middle class kids are children of a mid-level bank official.  Said bank official is convicted of felony embezzlement.  Goodbye salary, goodbye pension, goodbye nice house in the upper suburbs, goodbye college (even 401K/529 is clawed back if they were funded by embezzled funds), goodbye stay at home mom. 

Hello cheap apartment in the poor side of town or family couch surfing with relatives.  Hello kids having to hope for scholarships or working to get into college (oh, goodbye tutors), hello working part time after school. hello mom working 2 jobs.

When mom and dad do bad things, the kids ALWAYS suffer.  We have no structure (nor should we) that exempts them. 

Except, some think, for kids of illegals.  They are somehow protected from the bad and malicious decisions of their parents.

    CNN and MSNBC are repeating the false claim that DACA recipients are “children” or “kids,” while actually most are adults.

    While DACA recipients were illegally brought to the United States by their parents when they were children, the minimum age to apply for the program is 15 years old. In fact, the majority of the applicants were over the age of 20 based on 2014 data from the US government. Some have estimated that the average age of dreamers is 25 or 26 years old–hardly children.

    But those watching CNN and MSNBC might be under the impression that the DACA debate centers on young kids.

The people who are “tearing families apart” are the illegal immigrants who come to America illegally and then force the government to send them back. It’s not Trump’s fault, it’s not Christians fault… it’s the illegal immigrants fault.

We Christians (and conservatives) understand that most of leftwing Hollywood despises us. They truly believe that we are the “deplorables” they say we are. They hate our faith, they hate our culture, they hate our morality, and they hate us.

Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the repeal of the Obama era executive order — known as the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program — both on constitutional grounds and also on principle.

“The effect of this unilateral executive amnesty, among other things, contributed to a surge of unaccompanied minors on the southern border that yielded terrible humanitarian consequences,” Sessions said. “It also denied jobs to hundreds of thousands of Americans by allowing those same jobs to go to illegal aliens.”

The political reality is, apart from Trump's "directives" to Congress, those limp-wristed, gaydar-inducing RINOs and their kinfolk liberals that continue to snarl at conservatives as to how cruel we are, those "kids" aren't really going anywhere.

Especially since their parents aren't going anywhere either.

Seems to me, if you want to stem the flow of illegal immigration in the first place, you need to:

• Protect the borders
• Remove incentives and make it painful to employ illegals
• Evict them

I fully realize this discussion centers on Dreamers - but that's just the tip of the iceberg, and it's one that the politicians, MSM, and the pussies will focus on, capitalizing on the tear-jerking stories that are designed to get the non-thinking-but-voting assholes to look the other way.

On Tuesday, Barack Obama sought to score political points by criticizing his successor via Facebook.

“To target these young people is wrong – because they have done nothing wrong,”  Barack Obama wrote.

Malik Obama took to Twitter on Tuesday to rip his half-brother after Barack Obama criticized President Trump’s decision to end the former president’s executive action to protect illegal immigrants.

He’s referring to the immigration case of Zeituni Onyango.

According to the Weekly Standard, Obama went golfing instead of attending her funeral.

“Mr. Obama helped pay funeral expenses and sent a condolence note, Ms. Onyango’s family members said, but the president did not attend, as he was golfing,” the site reports, citing the New York Times.
