Is it just me or is every single DU member on some sort of medication for one malady or another? Christ, it's like leftist ideology rots you from inside out.
One of the better examples of this is the long-gone bitter old Vermontese "cali" primitive.
Because she's a bitch and doesn't get along with people, she lives in a very isolated part of northernmost Vermont, miles and miles away from other people.
One day she was out feeding her chickens (or somesuch chore), during which time she fell and broke her leg. She got back inside the house, but the telephone was.....upstairs.
So she had to drag her body a few miles, through the woods and meandering country lanes, to get help.
One has to admire her tenacity--I for one have done things similar, although not nearly as stupidly--but in dragging herself, she did further damage to the broken leg, the result being much more pain than necessary, and an addiction to pain-killers. She's a mess right now.
But it's her own fault, for being such a foul, negative person to other people. Probably if she were friendlier, other people might've come across her earlier in the ordeal, and helped. But as it was, she's such a bitch that nobody thought check up on her.
If she's learned anything by now--highly doubtful--she's baked a batch of cookies every single day, leaving a plate of them on an open window, to attract people to come in and visit, to be sure she's okay (she's no spring chicken).
