Their own irony is often lost on them, such as when they proclaim that "elections have consequences", as they are losing elections all over the country. Or when they claim they "want the money out of politics", but vote for Hillary Clinton. Or when they say "we are a nation of laws" (except the laws concerning immigration). Or when they say "power corrupts", but want to expand the government's power.
