Well, it's a boring afternoon, and I wasn't doing anything in particular.

What attracted me to this was the simple sheer modesty of the request.  Usually primitives demand a great deal more--remember the rhythmatic primitive, that obese West Virginian of some months ago who wanted donors to remodel her whole place for her?

It didn't hurt that the requestor happens to be somewhat more aesthetic than the average primitive femme, and who could resist the pleas of a comely damsel?

Virtue needs rewarded.

Well, just as I thought it'd happen.

The gimme crowd, Manny's primitives, the selfish idolators of the hoary old white-haired sourassed sourpuss, presents barren ground for one to seek charity.

There was a miniscule spurt up to $1075, and then it stopped (the goal's a modest $2,000).

This is definitely not what the late John Kennedy was thinking of when he suggested one shouldn't ask what other people could do for oneself, but rather asking what one can do for other people (something like that).

As sick and loathing Skins' primitives make me, Manny's arrogant self-centered primitives make me even more sick and loatheful.

And these asses think they're better people than us, or Skins' primitives.

Bah humbug.

Well, well, well, after six days she's gotten $1115 from other Manny's primitives, and $10 from a decent and civilized person.

That's barely over half her rather modest goal of $2000.

She doesn't really need anything from this side, but one's supposed to be able to count on one's pals, one's friends, one's comrades, when in need.

But Manny's primitives, so arrogant and condescending in their social consciences, obviously don't care.  After all, they're the ones who're supposed to get money, not give it.
