We need to run more Bernie like candidates.
Progressive populism is the recipe to start winning some of these races. This was a district tRump only won by 1.5%! I'm sure a Bernie like candidate would have pulled this one over the finish line.

Sure he would....10 hours after the rest of them crossed it.

heh

Although not many agree with him.

Only 43 points? That's not bad at all. I say go for it.

2. Only if we want a Congress with three Democratic seats and all the rest Republican.

Well, it can't be completely republican. We need something to laugh at.

15. Every candidate Sanders has endorsed since the 2016 election has lost.

That's a dismal record.

3. Or just better politicians

No offense to Ossoff, but it sounds like he wasn't willing to attack Handel where it would have counted - tying her to Trump. She skated the entire campaign by keeping Trump at arm's length, while continually 'smearing' Ossoff as a 'San Francisco Pelosi liberal.'

He needed to be a better politician

18. Bernie is interested in winning

but he wasn't invited to this party. And why should he jump in to be the man left holding the bag when it all falls apart?

This whole mess can be laid at the doorstep of the DNC.

“You have got to, Mary, act in an unprecedented way. Think big. Get involved in every way that you can. stand up and fight back in every way that you can”
and that is why Sanders is better

You moan and whine and bleat on about Russia and hacked elections, but you completely ignore the fact that it was Hillary who rigged the primary election. Does the word "superdelegate" ring any bells?

29. Bernie would have cost Ossoff

His message of populism does not play well with people who are upper middle class like this district. This district has only a 5% poverty rate compared to the 17% of the rest of Georgia.

More proof that democrats need for there to be poor people in order to maintain power. "Bernie can't win because there are too few poor people?" What is this I don't even...

Yep, sounds like a plan. You go right ahead and run these ridiculous candidates. You go right ahead and buy that multi-million dollar mansion on a minimum wage salary. You go right ahead and gamble away your life savings and bet against the Globetrotters. You go right ahead and try to fly across the Pacific by flapping your arms real fast and thinking happy thoughts. I'm sure it will aaaaalll work out for you.

I suspect The Bern is enshrined in DU's Permanent Shit List, right next to Ralph Nader.

O. M. G. NOOoooo, not that.
We're quaking in our boots that people will turn and embrace the failed ideology of socialism.
It's been so beneficial for Venezuela
Then-Chief Justice John Marshall observed, “Between a balanced republic and a democracy, the difference is like that between order and chaos.”

John Adams warned in a letter, “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet, that did not commit suicide.”

Here it is, plain and simple just like DU folks like it. Most libs are socialists so Bernie does well within the democrat party. Most non-libs are anti-socialists so Bernie does poorly when running against anyone normal.
