If for some strange chance there is a hint of truth to this story, the reason is President Trump plates are sold out, and you can't give away Obozo plates.

A. Have Trump plates been made yet?

B. If so, does that mean the gas station (??!!) is sold out of the Trump plates, but has lots of unsold Obama plates?

OK, I realize the US is not culturally homogeneous down to the finest detail, but decorative Presidential "collectors" plates sold at gas station quickie marts? I haven't seen anything like that in my CA and OR travels.

2. Over the Obama years

I bought plates. Cups. Kept pins, stickers. Yard signs.
I was proud to have them.

I Had some obama toilet paper, but when I used it the ink came off and made my ass black. :argh: :argh: :argh:

The obama plates are leftovers, after he got done wrecking the economy  Dims didn't have any money left from their welfare checks to buy them. :-) :-) :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

6. If it was in Trump country, they are probably sold out of the Trump ones, and have extras of Obama.

Don't mean to be a downer, but let's be realistic. If it is truly Trump country then the Trump plates are the ones they would have trouble keeping in stock.

If true, probably at 10 cents on the dollar or buy five gallons and get a free Shit Midas plate.

So let's contrast if the same plates were being offered in a blue hellhole:

1.  There is a good chance that you wouldn't see ANY plates with Trump on them, for fear of retaliation on the business owner, in the form of broken windows, vandalism, attacks on his family, etc.

2. If they were on display, you childish monkeys would be covering them up with other plates/hiding them behind things, etc.

3. Possible riots and poo-flinging of leftist nature, ala Berkeley, etc.

All brought to you by the "tolerant" left.

I really regret not buying a whole stack of those "Madame President" Newsweeks that were recalled.  They're selling for about $80 a pop on ebay.

It's best spent on something that primitives largely abhor, like a Glock or a SIG Sauer. :whistling:

My strong suspicion is that you'll never see Trump plates.

Remember: all of those Obama plates and T-shirts and action figures and whatever the hell else they made are all unlicensed.  Trump has a specific brand (his name and his likeness) to protect, so I very seriously doubt that his lawyers are going to let anyone get away with selling unlicensed merchandise with his name or likeness on it for any length of time.

Well, actually .... I suspect those are by some means authorized (possibly some sort of existing contract with the US government, rather than directly with Trump). Those won't be sold in gas station quickie marts, though.

History can't be copyrighted.  President Trump gave up his image when he first RAN for POTUS. That includes plates, tchotchskis,  stand up life sized posters, etc.   But it is his image as POTUS only.  You could not put out "Malibu Trump" dolls (much less host of The Apprentice).  The same was true for obozo, you don't have to get permission to portray the image of the POTUS or SCOTUS (no matter how ugly he might have been).
