Bars across the nation to open early Thursday for Comey's hearing

Bars in Washington D.C., Houston and San Francisco will open early on Thursday morning to host viewing parties as former FBI Director James Comey publicly testifies in front of the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Three bars in Washington, D.C., including Shaw's Tavern, Duffy's Irish Pub and The Partisan will be holding events. They will have specialty drinks such as Duffy's Irish Pub's "Covfefe cocktail," which is a play off recent Trump tweet gaffe. Duffy's Irish Pub will have 15 large screens tuned into C-SPAN with audio on loud.

In Houston, Texas Axelrad Beer Garden has invited customers to the "SUPER BOWL of Washington."

Meanwhile, in San Francisco customers can get their Russian vodka fix at 6 a.m. at Cloone's Pub, Ace's Bar or Gina & Carlo's. The hearing is set for 10 a.m. ET.

TRUMP IS RIGHT: Jeff Sessions Got Played by Democrats When He Recused Himself from Russian Witch Hunt

The latest leak from Deep State insiders is that President Trump is upset with Attorney General Jeff Sessions for recusing himself from the Russian witch hunt.

Sessions made the announcement in March that he would recuse himself from the Russian investigation — in an effort to appease liberal Democrats.

Since that time there have been dozens of leaks by DC insiders to damage President Trump.

And the Russian conspiracy continues to make headlines in the liberal media day after day.

Trump is right to be angry.

ABC reported:

    As the White House braces for former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony Thursday, sources tell ABC News the relationship between President Donald Trump and Attorney General Jeff Sessions has become so tense that Sessions at one point recently even suggested he could resign.

    The friction between the two men stems from the attorney general’s abrupt decision in March to recuse himself from anything related to the Russia investigation — a decision the president only learned about minutes before Sessions announced it publicly. Multiple sources say the recusal is one of the top disappointments of his presidency so far and one the president has remained fixated on.

    Trump’s anger over the recusal has not diminished with time. Two sources close to the president say he has lashed out repeatedly at the attorney general in private meetings, blaming the recusal for the expansion of the Russia investigation, now overseen by Special Counsel and former FBI Director Robert Mueller.

Under siege, Trump counterpunches from his Twitter comfort zone

At a perilous juncture of his still-young administration, President Trump is retreating into his comfort zone. Days before fired FBI Director James Comey's congressional testimony, Trump is taking aim at his political opponents on Twitter.

Trump's recent flurry of social media activity leaves even the White House unsure of what to expect from the president when Comey dishes to senators about their Russia-related conversations.

"The FAKE MSM is working so hard trying to get me not to use Social Media," Trump tweeted early Tuesday morning. "They hate that I can get the honest and unfiltered message out."

But it's not just the mainstream media or even liberal Democrats complaining. "I'm not a fan of the president's tweets," Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said Tuesday afternoon ahead of a meeting between Trump and GOP congressional leaders. It is not the first time McConnell has expressed this opinion. "And that still remains my view," he added.

Report: James Comey Asked Jeff Sessions To Not Leave Him Alone With Donald Trump

A new report claims James Comey asked Jeff Sessions to never leave him alone with Donald Trump.

According to the New York Times, the former FBI director “confronted Attorney General Jeff Sessions and said he did not want to be left alone again with the president” after he had an “inappropriate” interaction with him in the Oval Office. That inappropriate interaction was determined from a memo Comey allegedly wrote afterwards, when he claimed that Trump asked him to shut down the FBI’s investigation into former national security adviser Mike Flynn because he was “a good guy.”

Trump is dining at the White House Tuesday night with two senators who are on the Senate Intelligence Committee and will question Comey — Sens. Marco Rubio and Tom Cotton.

Continuing to point out some of the more brutally obvious motives, intents and contradictions of fired FBI Director James Comey the paragraphs on Page #4 showcase the ridiculous political games that Comey was playing with the Trump administration.

The audacity of Comey here is jaw-dropping.  He admits in his statements both on January 6th, and again on January 27th, the entire premise of the Russian Dossier is bogus, hence: “prove a negative”, and yet unbeknownst to President Trump this is the same evidence the FBI and Comey’s own investigative unit utilized to expand the Russian Election hacking/interference narrative into the Trump campaign, and gain FISA warrants therein.  Without the Dossier the Trump-Russia conspiracy narrative doesn’t exist.

UPDATE 10:20 A.M. Audible gasps of disappointment were heard throughout Union Pub as Comey said he will not re-read his opening statement published online last night, a statement that completely vindicated President Trump.

Comey, however, admits that the President can fire him whenever he wants. He also says that he heard Donald Trump thought he was doing a “great job.”

But here in Union Pub, cheers erupted as a champagne bottle was popped open for more Washington, D.C., mimosas.

UPDATE 10:17 A.M. As Warner wraps his righteous opening statement, in which he stated “this is not a witch hunt” and “this is not fake news,” the STANDING ROOM ONLY crowd at Union Pub laughs as Comey is forced by the chairman to stand and be sworn in under oath for his testimony.

UPDATE 10:15 A.M. This real life parody is getting more and more out of control. Fired ex-U.S. Attorney from the Southern District of New York Preet Bharara is joining Comey in the hearing room.

Washington, DC Bar-Goers Express Disappointment Over James Comey Hearing

Several people said they hoped more would come out of a closed hearing later in the day, where Comey can discuss classified information.

“What we got out of this hearing was an affirmation of what we already knew. Any juicy bombshells will come out of the closed door meetings,” he said.

“The only person who effectively pressed Comey was Marco Rubio. I’m not a Trump fanatic, but if he does well, it’s good for the country. We have an issue in this country of unprecedented division,” he said.
