"Apologized"
As in sobered up, had half a hair of the dog, took a call from her agent, who reamed her and gave her an ultimatum: "Apologize!" or "I quit!"
There is a sizable contingent out there who think that she actually pre-recorded the "apology," as in she apologized
before she even released the pictures/film. I'm at least slightly of a mind to think that is the case. Now that she's doing some sort of press conference today, I'm of even more of a mind to believe this.
She's a dried-up has-been who probably drew the short straw amongst her Hollyweird drug-buddies for who was going to go out and push the envelope far enough for there to be a national backlash.
