OK which European country will shut down the US military base first?

Your guess

US pulls out of Europe completely- saving the US billions.

What could go wrong?

2. Our bases put money into their economies

Our military men and women spend a lot of their pay locally.
So I'm guessing the countries turn up their noses at Trump but like the money.

We pull out of Europe and make England into a non-floating aircraft carrier...

Victims of their own logic they are.  Which countries did we have bases in when we defeated the Germans in WWII?   :rotf:

Now I may be wrong but I thought liberals were all about Military Out.   :o

NONE. NOT A SINGLE ONE.

In 2005 Rumsfield threatened and started moving on closing a couple of bases in germany and they sued him to keep them there.

Plus shouldn't the DUchnozzles want the imperalist USA out of europe. I know I do. This time when europe needs us, let's sit it out on pacifist grounds like the DUchebags claim they want.

Plus, plus, the rest of europe shit their collective panties when Trump did not back down. We start removing military assets (or even threaten it) out of europe and Trump's dick is going to be chapped from every single euro elite sucking it to please stay.

Donald Trump has hit back at Angela Merkel’s recent comments about the unreliability of the US as a trading partner.

In a tweet, the US President said America had a “massive trade deficit with Germany” and warned: “This will change.”

It comes after Ms Merkel said Germany can no longer rely on the US under Mr Trump’s presidency.

Merkel, Obama's buddy. Obama visited Merkel just before Trump got there and probably told her to "stick it to him".

Yes, Trump can also "suggest" maybe Germany doesn't need all that American military spending money.  :-)

I always get a chuckle out of the DUmbasses saying we need to cut the defense budget by 50-75%.
The minute we did that all of Europe and Canada would go into hysterics.

HEY DUmbasses:

Even Angela Mertz knows Germany can't afford a strong defense and a strong commitment to their socialism all at the same time.  She is not very bright, but I am sure she can figure that out - or President Trump will remind the Cuckoo Lady.

(Aside:  I think it is hilarious how the liberals and other DUmmies are constantly comparing those little European countries to the United States of America.  We here in the USA have some cities with more population than some of those small "state-size" dots on the map.)

Czarist, Stalinist, or Putinist, Russia is still hungry.

How many EuroLanders' armies are unionized now?

With a few exceptions they are mostly tens of thousands of PTSD cases waiting to have the event that will bring it on the first time a bullet is fired at them or the guy or girl next to them is blown apart.  The Poles, Czechs, most of the Germans, and Hungarians are trained and hard-headed enough to deal with real war, for awhile at least, and there are some good units mixed in with the rest of the riff-raff in the French forces.  The rest, not so much.  The Brits run their own off-shore show, they're pretty decent too.  ETA  - there are some of the smaller countries with very small forces that are really good at what they do, but they're not a big factor in the total picture.

Affluence and the self-interested mindset that started with the Boomers and has only grown worse with each generation are killing the West, and a related but different problem afflicts Russia.  They all have plummeting birthrates, both Russia and Germany are far below even a replacement level...and Germany's is buoyed up only by previous generations of immigrants from Turkey and Eastern Europeans seeking better lives at the end of the Cold War.  Merkel's whole purpose in allowing in a million 'Refugees' was to increase the workforce, an ill-considered move since they quickly lost control of the flow so that friends in Germany in a position to know say the real number is much closer to two million...and she completely failed to reckon with the fact the new arrivals have no desire whatsoever to assimilate or leave their old culture behind.  Which was incredibly stupid, you could see forty years ago that the Turks who came and stayed never really assimilated, their area of town was full of Turkish symbols and signs.  Instead of trying to institute policies that blatantly encourage women to have children - Oh, the sexism! - she thought she could fix it by bringing in a bunch of runaway dudes who didn't want to fight for their own country's stability...plus maybe 10% of the mass who were actually worth saving.

Now it's not the problem in the US that it is in Europe or Russia, but talk to a Millennial and you'll find they have a million reasons why they don't want to have kids...cost, the awfulness of the world, the feeling they aren't stable enough in their career, you name it.  If their parents had used the same thought process, none of them would be here.  But underneath the BS rationalizations, it all boils down to Self over Others.  A lot of girls who ultimately do want kids just wait too long because the time is never 'Right,' and end up running out their biological clocks because they've been sold on the need for professional success first or can't find a male who is worth fathering their kids because the guys are so enjoying just living for themselves.

Totally off-topic, but this is something that really POs me (not that I matter to German politics). German homeschoolers have been jailed and (IIRC) lost custody of their children in the name of preventing an alternative sub-culture from rising, while another arm of the German government is importing an utterly foreign and incompatible culture!

Add to that the fact they are a welfare state to "refugees" there is no chance any great numbers would join the workforce.

9. Funny you should ask.

Last night it popped into my mind that Germany would tell Trump to take his base back, or to pay rent and taxes.
I know we have more than one over there, my mind was referencing the whole collection...

but given the SHIT he has dished out to Germany, it would seem like a proper request

I don't have any specific knowledge, but if we pay "rent" to Cuba for Gitmo (which we do), I suspect we are also already paying "rent" to Germany. If I understand this article correctly, we do.

Well we shouldn't be paying them anything, they should be paying us to be there.

So if France for example wants to kick us out do we have to repatriate the remains of those buried there in in the years 1917-1918 and 1944-1945?

That very question was asked of Charles DeGaulle in the late 60s when he took the French out of the NATO military command structure.

Merkel's whole purpose in allowing in a million 'Refugees' was to increase the workforce,

The other flaw is that the invaders have no skills and 99.9% of them are on welfare. Also the raping, the killing, the harassing, and the bombing are also some minor flaws in her thinking. Other than those tiny flaws it was an absolute great forward thinking plan by the old commie.
