That's the danger of seeing your political enemies are human beings. You don't hate everyone you're supposed to hate.
I remember being somewhat surprised - decades ago, now - that Rush and uber-liberal local host Bernie Ward were friends and supportive of each other career-wise. They agreed about very little - and this was before Bernie Ward had to do prison time - but they saw each other as human beings. To be honest, I did not think Rachel Madcow capable of that. Can't say I hate being wrong on that point.
