I posted about this in the Shoutbox before seeing this thread. I pointed out that NYPD were saying that it was probably a DWI. I pointed out that sinde the driver had 2 prior DWIs, that was plausible. And then I pointed out that the survivors and family of the person who died (one has died that I've heard of) should be asking why the driver was free and driving.
So, no. I wasn't hoping the driver was a terrorist. Nor was I politicizing a tragedy to attack people whose political views differ from mine.
