My Elderly Husband Nearly Started a Riot at the Polling Place

this morning. He referred within the Republican committeeman's hearing to our president as "that lying sack of shit." Words were exchanged, partisans of both sides yelled at each other.

I think my husband won because the Republican's parting shot was "I'll pray for you."

I'll pray for you? No cheering DUmmies running in and patting you on the back? Boring

Turns out there are primary elections in PA, and some sort of municipal election in the Land of LA. I.E., nothing national level that might prompt cf's husband to give his opinion at the polling place.

IOW, hubby recognized an R and decided to provoke an argument. A brief argument happened, and then the R decided for the good of the election process to shut it down (showing more sense than hubby did!). No riot, just brief @#$% stirred up by cf's husband and shut down by a less stupid person.

Assuming the whole :bouncy: wasn't fauxny.

Having some experience as a poll worker,  anyone spouting political crap (electioneering) would be directed to leave the polling station.  I expect the argument consisted of the Poll Judge telling him to shut up or depart and him flapping his gums.

If "chainlinkfence" & hubby live in the Land of LA a poll worker letting someone run their mouth about Trump doesn't seem too implausible. Maybe in parts of Philly, too. But the :bouncy: has a strong just-so-story feel to it. It's just missing a cop jumping out of the bushes to arrest the R poll worker (or hubby) for being a jerk.

And if the table was turned and it was a "repuke" who said that same line within earshot of a democrat committee person (btw, committeeman is not gender neutral DUmmy)  when obama was president this bouncy would be about how the "repuke" was dressed down by the committee person for being racist and spouting political ideology at a polling place, and marched out of the site while everyone present applauded the courage of the committee person for doing the right thing.

Minor addition for the sake of completeness.

I hope this DUmmie knows this wasn't a compliment.  Then again, I doubt it.

Someone explain to this bitter old hag, that when you instigate things, and you use low-class language in the process, you're automatically disqualified from being the "winner."
