A Port Hueneme family got an unwanted lesson in illegal immigration Wednesday when they caught a
previously deported sex offender peeping through the windows of their home
less than 24 hours after he cross back into the U.S.
Magaly Barragan told KABC she noticed the man peeping through the window of her home from the back yard around 9 a.m. Wednesday and called the Port Hueneme Police.
Barragan said the man was
trying to break in through the window, and when she confronted him he jumped a fence and tried to hide, NBC Los Angeles reports.
The chief said Damaso “says he paid a coyote money to illegally cross into the United States” on Tuesday.
“What was even more concerning is that within 24 hours, he was up to his same behavior as he had previously been deported for,” Salinas told CBS Los Angeles.
Agnes Gibboney, a mother from nearby Rancho Cucamonga whose son was killed by an illegal immigrant, said she was “outraged” by the incident.
“I’m outraged because how is it that somebody can cross the border back into the United States so easily?” she questioned. “I’m very upset because what’s happening down at the border? Where is the gap that
these illegal aliens are able to cross into our country so easily and come here to this country to victimize Americans?”
CBS Los Angles reports:
According to jail records, Damaso was arrested on March 8 by Oxnard police for being under the influence and was released two days later. Jail records did not indicate why Damaso was released at this time.http://www.theamericanmirror.com/ca-homeowner-catches-twice-deported-sex-offender-breaking-house/
