I have not logged on since the election and have forced myself not to comment on DU since. I felt that DU might have been subject to Russian hack on Election Day. So, I have just read "latest posts" daily.

I have begun to notice threads now discussing if women and children lives are more important than men or bashing Dems over the filibuster, which makes me suspicious that DU is under attack big time by the same trolls that took over the news comment sections before election.

DU only has one choice, make members contribute $10 to join DU or you cannot start a thread. There must be some self-defense because DU has been infiltrated by the trolls I fear.

Skinner really screwed the pooch when he took the site down and kept it down for so long. It could have been the rallying point of DUmmies and DUmmie sympathizers nation, and perhaps, world wide.

But because he fear the DUmmies embarrassing him and the Democrat Party he lost out. It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and he blew it.

He could have probably gone from 150000 members to over 1 million over night. It could have been the grandest loony bin ever witnessed, each loony wanting to buy hearts and whatnot.

Even if 80% of the new users evaporated after the inauguration he still would have gained substantially.

Shame.
