Actress Ashley Judd sparked controversy for a tweet in which she suggested that the United States had less rights for women than a country like Iraq.

Judd shared an article on Twitter that suggested that women had less rights in America than they do in certain countries that included Serbia and Iraq.

"The U.S. ranks 104th behind countries like Burundi, Serbia and Iraq," Judd quoted from the article.

Ashley Judd is a borderline case. 

If she hates America, she is more than welcome to go to some Muslim nation of her choice. No one is forcing her to stay in America.

It's one of those begging the question (building the conclusion into the premises) things. The "standard" for the article was to what degree a nation's laws specifically coded women's rights into their laws and constitution. The US ranks low, because women have the same rights as men because they are humans, just like men, and are not called out specifically. The other probable fallacy is that the article probably assumes that the countries whose laws specifically call out women's rights interpret and apply their laws the way Western feminists would.
