Well could we get them to put their used toilet paper in the toilet, and not on the floor next to it?  I get so repulsed whenever I use a bathroom in a public building in Santa Ana and see a pile of used toilet paper on the floor next to the comode.

They have some bad septic systems in other countries. I stayed at a hotel in Nicaragua that you put used toilet paper in a waste basket next to the toilet rather than flushing it. It was weird but luckily the baskets had lids and the staff emptied the baskets every day.

I get that, but we are not a turd world country and I'm tired of having to deal with the unsanitary habits of visitors
