BREAKING NEWS: At least two dead and several 'catastrophically injured' after car mows down pedestrians on Westminster Bridge before a knifeman is shot after attacking police officer in the grounds of Parliament

• Four-wheel drive car said to have driven over Westminster Bridge knocking down pedestrians this afternoon
• Victims were said to have been left scattered in the road, with some reportedly knocked into the River Thames
• 'Asian' knifeman then got into the grounds of Parliament where he reportedly stabbed a police officer
• The 'middle-aged' attacker was then shot by armed officers as the area was cleared by emergency services
• Parliament was suspended and the Prime Minister was rushed from the scene in an unmarked police car

At least two people are dead after a terror attacker brought carnage to central London today, mowing down pedestrians on Westminster Bridge before attacking police with a knife in the grounds of the Houses of Parliament.

More than 12 people are said to have been hit by a vehicle on the bridge after a 4x4 drove into pedestrians and cyclists before crashing into the gates of Parliament.

An intruder, described by a witness as 'middle-aged and Asian', then managed to break into the grounds of the Parliament and stabbed a police officer before he was shot. The policeman is thought to have since died.

An hour after the attack, paramedics removed a man, thought to be the attacker, from the scene after extensive CPR. Another body appeared to have been left on the ground covered by a red blanket.

A doctor at St Thomas' Hospital has said one woman has died and a number of others have been hurt - including some with 'catastrophic' injuries.

It was a terror attack. The dude was a Brit citizen known-wolf, name not yet released, though not regarded as a significant threat.

Scotland Yard is using the T-word and the I-word:

(PM May) was speaking as it emerged eight people have been arrested in connection with the terror attack. Scotland Yard said six addresses have been raided in London, Birmingham and elsewhere overnight following the attack linked to "Islamic terrorism in some form".

BTW, Birmingham - where the perp lived and rented the vehicle he used - is not a London suburb. IOW, there was some degree of planning behind this attack.

'I dream of killing' London terrorist Khalid Masood ‘always carried knife’

Terror struck the heart of London on Wednesday after Masood, who was born Adrian Russell Ajao, drove a 4x4 car into pedestrians along Westminster Bridge before forcing his way through the gates at the front of the Houses of Parliament.

Lee, who still lives in Northiam, told the Sun: “It was while he was inside that Ade turned to Islam.

“I only saw him once when he came out of prison. He was driving through the village, saw me and put his finger against his throat and made a slashing gesture.

“He loved scaring people. He got off on being the hard man.”

His former childhood pal Mark Ashdown, 52, said he was shocked by the news on Wednesday but confirmed Masood’s time in prison had changed him.

Maybe I don't frequent the MSM enough, but I haven't heard much about the the perp in this attack (may he have 72 Helen Thomases). Probably once US MSM realized there was no Prog-narrative supported by covering it, and that the perp was a Muslim, it became an instant "local story" (while one of those killed was an American, he was religious and from flyover country - MSM-folk don't much like Utah Mormons).
