Donna Brazile says passing along a list of topics for a TV town hall event to Hillary Clinton’s campaign was “a mistake I will forever regret.”

WikiLeaks in October published emails purportedly stolen from Clinton campaign chief John Podesta, which included messages from Brazile to Clinton’s campaign containing information on what would be asked during two town hall debates between Clinton and her rival for the Democratic presidential nomination, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.)

The released emails also showed Brazile telling the Clinton campaign before a March 6 debate that there would be questions about the contaminated water in Flint, Mich.

“One of the questions directed to HRC tomorrow is from a woman with a rash,” Brazile wrote to Podesta and Palmieri on March 6. “Her family has lead poison and she will ask what, if anything, will Hillary do as president to help the ppl of Flint.”

Martin was not involved in that debate.

Both happened when Brazile was a CNN contributor, before she became the interim DNC chairwoman. After the revelations, Brazile was told she would not return to the network.

Brazile maintained the questions were never supplied to her by anyone at CNN.

In a November interview on Sirius XM, Brazile appeared not to regret sharing the questions in advance.

“My conscience — as an activist, a strategist — is very clear,” Brazile said in an interview with SiriusXM host Joe Madison, adding, "If I had to do it all over again, I would know a hell of a lot more about cybersecurity.”

Donna Brazile FINALLY Admits She Gave Debate Questions To Hillary Clinton Campaign

Mediaite reports:

‘I Will Forever Regret’: Donna Brazile Admits She Gave Debate Questions to Clinton Campaign

Democratic analyst Donna Brazile seems to have confessed that she sent town hall debate topics to Hillary Clinton‘s presidential campaign while she worked for CNN…

On Friday, Brazile penned an essay for TIME where she talked about the importance of launching an investigation into the Trump administration’s apparent connections to Russia. As Brazile talked about how the Russians interfered with the election to President Trump‘s advantage, she reflected on how the e-mails about her were part of a strategy to destabilize the DNC.

From the piece in TIME:

In October, a subsequent release of emails revealed that among the many things I did in my role as a Democratic operative and D.N.C. Vice Chair prior to assuming the interim D.N.C. Chair position was to share potential town hall topics with the Clinton campaign. I had been working behind the scenes to add more town hall events and debates to the primary calendar, and I helped ensure those events included diverse moderators and addressed topics vital to minority communities. My job was to make all our Democratic candidates look good, and I worked closely with both campaigns to make that happen. But sending those emails was a mistake I will forever regret.

It says "mistake I will forever regret", and yet in my mind I still saw "mistake I will never regret".

Donna Brazile Admits to Sharing Debate Questions With Clinton Camp, Blames Russia

Former DNC chairwoman and disgraced CNN commentator Donna Brazile has admitted that she relayed confidential questions to Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign in advance of last year’s primary debate.

On October 14th, CNN accepted Brazile’s resignation as a network contributor. CNN’s Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter said Brazile’s collusion with the Clinton campaign “embarrassed all of CNN.

But in her Time letter, Brazile said “the media narrative” about her being in cahoots with the Clinton campaign “played out just as the Russians had hoped, leaving Sanders supporters understandably angry and sowing division in our ranks.”

The WikiLeaks hack, Brazile said, is evidence that there must be a continued investigation into Russia’s interference in the presidential election.

Former Obama Director of National Intelligence James Clapper has stated that he has seen no evidence — from the NSA, FBI, and CIA — proving “collusion between members of the Trump campaign and the Russians.”

“My conscience — as an activist, a strategist — is very clear,” Brazile said in an interview with SiriusXM host Joe Madison, adding, "If I had to do it all over again, I would know a hell of a lot more about cybersecurity.”

In plain terms, she would not hesitate to do the same thing again, as long as she thought she could not get caught.

Note that while Brazile spun what she did as, "My job was to make all our Democratic candidates look good," and, "I worked closely with both campaigns to make that happen," reality is that Brazile only leaked debate topics to Hillary's campaign.
