I know, the family is somehow shepherding all his supposed assets, but is the blind trust/divestiture crap just a suggestion, or a law, or in the constitution?

as has been said, if he'd been forced to sell all his 'assets,' they'd likely turn out to actually be mountains of debt, right?

This one is in the realm of "What in Hades is she talking about?!" Had "Gabi Hayes" bothered to do a little Googling, she would have learned that JEC sold his interest in his peanut business (warehouse and such) in 1981. JEC was no longer President in 1981 (just in case she sees this and is that ignorant of history). If I understand that article correctly, JEC did not sell his farm at that time, and may not have to this day. JEC had put his interest in the farm and his peanut business into a blind trust during his Presidency, as DJT has done or is doing.

I wonder, is "Gabi Hayes" referring to this article in The Onion?
