I wouldn't be so sure. The left is tenacious and they smell blood. They got Flynn this way and they're after Sessions. Personally, I'd be surprised if he's still there in a week.

This is how the left will attempt to bring down Trump. One member of his administration at a time. IF they get Sessions, they'll pick another target and go after he or she. They won't quit.

For the dummies:

I read the original washingcompost article. Nothing more than a hit piece.  Man was asked if he knew about any Trump campaign representative communicating with the ruskies during the campaign or if he did as a Trump campaign representative. He said no. The first time cited he saw a bunch of ambassadors at some function where he gave a speech and the second time cited he met with the russkie ambassador, and other ambassadors, as part of his senatorial duties. It was on his official schedule so it was not something hidden.   The washingtoncompost said that no other senator on that committee met with ambassadors as part of their job.  I seem to recall he was the leader of that committee so that would make sense.  Of course the morning news noise led off with "Sessions lied!".

I would say the same thing if it was a dem guy. 

That the GOP senior pols are throwing their buddy and pal under the bus tells me everything I need to know. They hate Trump.  This is going to come back and bite them in the ass big time.

Flynn left because Pence told something in public not true and evidently Flynn told him something not true.

Trump knows this game now and watch for the 2x counter punch. My guess is some info leaked about the donk leadership and their corruption.

That would be Deuteronomy 28:7. Translations vary slightly, of course, but here the verse is from the New English Translation:
