The rare triple bouncy (with bonus poll)

Bouncy #1:

Yesterday my daughter was threatened by a Trump supporter.

She was coming home from school late. She had a meeting...it was hailing here and she blinked her bright lights on and off in order to see better...she is a very cautious driver...the guy some ways in front of her blocked her car at the exit by turning sideways...he approached her car...at first she thought he needed help...but he launched into an unhinged tirade about the lights...and she was terrified. The man is very lucky I was not driving...if some person blocked my car and got out and threatened me.. I would have warned him as I called 911 not to come any closer...if he did, I would run him over...I am so angry. I wanted to call the cops...there is a camera near there, but she doesn't want to...he is dangerous and will hurt someone...she could have been rammed by another driver getting off the highway...the visibility was very poor. He had one one of those make America great stupid caps on his obviously fat head. Ohio is open carry and some of these folks are very dangerous.

Have you ever been threatened or accosted by a Trump supporter?

What about her other daughter?  Well, since you asked:

12. My other daughter had a Bernie sticker on her car and there were some comments.

Later she added a Hillary sticker. She is gay and has LGBTQ stuff too...I worry about her safety and wish she would remove these stickers. She is also in college. Now she was threated at college coming from a unity meeting by a band of Trump supporters. They shrieked at the kids called them perverted and told them they would burn in hell...some had signs supporting the murder in Orlando...I called the school and have not seen them since.

Both daughters?  How horrible.  Fortunately Demsrule86 hasn't been threatened.  Oh wait, there's more:

Quote
Demsrule86 (9,121 posts)

14. Unbelievable....I can't believe a person would do that.

That reminds me...my oldest who was the one threatened yesterday...and I went to the woman's march in DC. I ran into ladies with signs on their cars and pink hats...got two pink hats but had no sign...so I took crayons I bought at the gas station and wrote on my windows in the back. It was fine going down...so many people like a convoy...but coming back, we were almost run off the road twice...there we were in the cold and the drizzle at a gas station scraping off the crayon which is harder than it looks...it was a rental and it took some serious scrubbing.

She just remembered she almost got run off the road, not once, but twice.  Seems like the sort of thing that would stick in your memory.

Even her husband is scared:

8. It is scary...you have to be careful.

During the election some Hillary supporters with signs had their dogs poisoned...my husband took our sign down...we love our kids and our dogs...that guy is lucky I was not driving ...as a woman alone some guy comes near my car and blocks me ...approaches me...he is going to get run over. My Daddy told my sister and me ...never get out of your car...it is a weapon if you are attacked. We were living in Connecticut and some guy who said he was a cop was pulling woman over and assaulting them.

Wow, Trump supporters are terrorizing her entire family.  What are the odds?

http://www.democraticunderground.com/10028733474

Current polling indicates that 20% of them have been threatened by Trump supporters.  Poor things just keep getting knocked down by President Trump.

I will apply that same rule to any leftist terrorists blocking my way. That's a bouncy, I ALREADY APPLY THAT RULE.  It has worked since the Iraq street closures in 2003. Really this was just my 59 Apaches horn on constantly and a 30 second power break burnout. I was like Moses parting the Dead Head See.

When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

Moose, I have to congratulate you.

It's unfortunate you're such a rare poster, having been a member since the beginning nine years ago, but those few times you post something, they're always jewels.

Deplorable since 2016

I don't mean to get too technical, but I believe this is actually a quadruple bouncy.  Much more rare than a triple.    It is quite a find.

You see quite a bit of that. My hairdresser is from Jerusalem...she is a Muslim...she is afraid to go to the Mosque...she is wearing a scarf instead of the traditional headdress...so sad for my country.

Did the DUmmie stick the landing?  If so, the East German judge won't be the only one giving a 10 . . . :whistling:

Frank, thank you for the kind words.  I know that I lurk a lot more than I post.  I think I was around 30 or 40 posts on CU before CC started up.  LOL.  The other posters on here do such a fine job of digging up the truly stupid crap that gets posted on Skin's island.  Most of the time I like to just read, shake my head and laugh at them.  Sometime I feel like poking at the DUmmies is a form of child abuse.  On the plus side, only 20 more years until I get access to the super secret forum.

I considered scoring it a quad bounce, but I thought the removing Hillary signs part was plausible.  Although the whole Trump supporters poisoned my dogs thing was a made-up story, I'm not sure how to score it if someone actually takes action based on a bouncy.   Is it a bouncy?  Or just an extension of a bouncy.  Bouncy ripples in the pond?  If she had started out with "So" or cops were jumping out of bushes my scorecard would have definitely given credit for a quadruple.

However,  BattleHymn, rowed over a post that appeals to the judges for full credit on the quad.  Based on the appeal, I have to revise my score to a quadruple bouncy made possible by an outstanding routine on the bullshit beam.

So . . . you agree with the East German judge, then? :whistling: :fuelfire:

6. It really is...the polite behavior has all but

disappeared. I mean there was some of that during the Obama campaign...I was called names at a gas station by someone who didn't like Obama, but it seems worse.

And you know how bouncies breed like rabbits?  Most of the DUmmies just posted boring driving stories, but this one came through:

28. I was buying incense at the corner gas station.

I was in line to check out with my Nag Champa when this guy started in on me about obviously being a "pothead" (I haven't smoked in a long time now so no smell, was just in jeans and a shirt from my trip to Atlantic Beach, NC, and a plain jacket). I completely ignored his comments, which angered him more. After several more comments I ignored, including "What, you think you're too good to speak to someone talking to you?" he said Trump was going to "finally do something about you liberal hippie potheads".

At that point the clerk asked him to put away his soda, leave the store, and come back when he was ready to not harass other customers.

 :lmao:

Finally!  Entertainment at the DUmp.

OK, I'll admit that hail is very rare here in Silicon Valley, and I've never had occasion to drive in hail. But it seems to me that blinking one's lights off and on would be a bad idea, messing up the eyes' irises' natural action of adjusting to surrounding light.

Flashing one's lights may be ass-holery, or it may be a distress signal. The guy went with the latter possibility and blocked her car, just in case she'd been abducted.

He realized she'd been an ass-hole rather than signalling distress and chewed her out for it.

Really? Open-carriers are dangerous? How many non-self-defense shootings have been carried out by open-carriers inOhio?

Daughter had been an ass-hole and got chewed out for it. My guess is that, rather being "very cautious", she was late for her meeting and was flashing the guy in front of her, wanting to go faster. She should have been ashamed, but fear (if real) might also deter her from similar future ass-holery.

As for the guy's MAGA hat, appended as an afterthought at the end, made up, to get DU-Cred and stir up shit. Maybe she should try to peddle this to CFNN. They're into peddling Fake News.
