Following President Donald Trump's address to Congress, political commentator Frank Luntz was interviewing
a focus group that got emotional. A Guatemalan immigrant was met with hostility by fellow group members once she said supported Trump.
After Luntz clarified that the woman was a first generation immigrant, he asked
why she supported Trump.
"For jobs," she responded. "I came here because I wanted an opportunity, not a hand out. The problem here is that, you know,
anybody comes in they have a kid and they start collecting money. That’s every single person that I know, that’s what they do."
The woman's answer was
immediately attacked by fellow group members with one woman yelling, "no, no, no" while another added "fact check."
"Guys back in Washington, you just mention the word ‘immigration,' you start the conversation for ten seconds, and the place goes berserk," Luntz said.
