We are experiencing something that we have never seen before.

There is no roadmap to follow.

The GOP has become, wittingly or unwittingly, an agent for the Russian government. FOX News is the propaganda arm of the same treasonous and dastardly conspirators.

There is no precedence to follow. We are making our own trails with this investigation.

We cannot paint GOP voters as traitors. They are nothing more than sheep that have been led to slaughter. They were simply brainwashed by FOX News and other propagandists.

We cannot permit ourselves to become fearful or paranoid. We must continue to uncover this story until our democracy is transparent. We have no other choice.

There is no roadmap to follow.

To me, the most irritating thing about this is that for eight years we had a media and a political party that defined "scandal" as anything Snarky McJughead said it was. There fore: Fast & Furious, not a scandal; Benghazi, not a scandal: Tony Rezko, not a scandal; politicization of the IRS, not a scandal; Hillary's server, not a scandal . . .

 :fuelfire: I see much amusement in store, potentially. If Ds/Progs/Libs try to keep this Trump-is-a-Russian-stooge narrative going, it'll become their birther thingy. At some point - maybe we're already past it - the public will see it as the stupidity it is, and turn against those purveying the narrative. And unlike with the birther thingy, some of those trying to sell the Russian Stooge narrative are D leaders. I have got to comment on THAT dress.

Flame me. Bite me. Hate me. My apologies in advance.

But in the same way that I feel the photo of Kellyanne Conway with her feet on the sofa in the Oval Office was disrespectful, I feel Melania Trump wearing a sequined dress to the address last night was also disrespectful. Ivanka was no better with her shoulder strap dress.

I certainly realize and stipulate that commenting on clothes can be construed as petty. I also realize and stipulate that we, as a society, have been moving to a more casual code of dress. I actually think that is a healthy thing, both economically, behaviorally and physically.

But there are still times when I think that dress is important when showing respect, and last night was one time when there should have been respect and appropriate dress. Kellyanne should not be sitting with her feet on the sofa in the Oval Office IMHO because the Oval Office is a respected place where business is conducted. Perhaps it would be somewhat different if it were just she and 45 going over a schedule in the evening after everyone had left - I'm not sure. But to have taken that posture in a room full of invited guests just did not sit well.

Neither did the dress of Melania and Ivanka last night. They are both inarguably beautiful women and they wear clothes well. So why not pick a more appropriate outfit for the occasion. Melania's, in my opinion, looked like she was going to the opening of a new casino.

Okay, to be clear here so that I'm not roasted for saying this - the choice of the outfit is the choice of the individual. Duly noted. But when the choice is inappropriate, what does that say about how much thought the individual gave to the respect due the event being attended? It's not like the two of them couldn't afford to have whatever outfit their heart desired. It's the choice that gives me grief.

Not to be bitchy about women.... but there is a time and place for cocktail outfits. This was neither the time or the place. After seeing Michelle Obama for 8 years we have been spoiled, a gracious and sophisticated lady that never missed the mark. Imagine that.

As for Melania's sequined outfit, they're right. She didn't look dowdy or frumpy, :-) . Why do I suspect that one or more of MOOCH-chelle's SOTU speech outfits gave frumpy or inappropriate a bad name? If Libs/Prog keep this kind of silliness up, they're going to redefine the word, "Petty".

Didn't she have anyone on staff who could have told her that her ass is two axe handles wide and she should choose clothes that would minimize it?? Besides that, it is so wrinkled, and what is that stupid bow thing on her back? She ought to have known that she would be seen, and photographed, from all angles, and tried not to look like an unmade bed.

She had a few outfits that I liked, but those were the notable exceptions in a long string of fashion failures. That woman was an embarrassment from the get-go.

Aside from her figure, the two EuroLeader ladies are dressed for the business-like occasion. MOOCH-chelle looked like she was dressed for a summer Sunday School picnic, so casual that she was almost insulting the business at hand through her demonstrated lack of seriousness.
